About Advanced Office Systems, Inc.

Advanced Office Systems was founded upon the idea of finding better ways for our clients to file, store, and retrieve information and material.  For over thirty years we have been working with Northern California business, government, and educational communities to design systems that provide cost effective solutions.  During those years we have built a reputation for high quality products and services.  As a charter member of the International Systems Dealers Association and Exclusive Dealer for Kardex Systems, Inc., we also represent approximately 100 additional manufacturers, making it possible to create custom storage solutions.

Professional Services Provided by Advanced Office Systems

At Advanced Office Systems we provide support services for all aspects of the products we carry.

Consulting Services - Allows us to review your current operation to establish needs, review applications, and propose methods for enhancing your storage/retrieval operations and work processes.

Design Services - A Systems Specialist will take information obtained during the consultation as well as subsequent meetings and design a solution that addresses our clients' specific needs.  Our design services include a written proposal with recommendations and Autocad drawings as necessary.

Equipment Installation Services - We have a staff of factory trained and certified technicians that will unpack, deliver, assemble, configure, and test all products we provide.  All of our installation services are conducted under our California Contractors License.

Record Installation Services - A Professional staff who specializes in the handling of client information.  These individuals can relocate your records within a building or transfer to a completely new site.  Included in the move process is a detailed diagram of the folder distribution across all shelving units.  We supply mobile carts to temporarily house records during transition.  This allows our clients access to their records at all times.

Specialty Record Services - A Professional staff that performs a number of file related services.  Among these services are record purges, sorting and filing loose material, conversion of records from top tab to side tab, alpha to numeric or vice-versa.

Installing Movable ShelvingSoftware Services - Installation, configuration, updating, and troubleshooting of software applications related to products we provide.

Microfilm Services - Converting of hard copy letter, legal, or engineering size documentation to roll and/or jacket 16mm and 35mm formats.

Scanning Services - Converting of hard copy letter, legal, or microfilmed records to electronic media.

Training Services - Instruction designed to promote the proper and most efficient use of the products we sell and service.

Relocation Services - Service crews to disassemble, package, deliver, reassemble and test all products we have furnished our clients who are moving to a different location.

Preventative Maintenance Agreements - Allows us to ensure that the equipment is in productive condition at all times, eliminating non-productive downtime, extending equipment life, and attaining maximum return on investment.

Repair Services - Services to repair equipment which is not functioning correctly, performed either on a warranty, under maintenance contract, or time and materials basis.
