KARDEX Movable Rack Systems

The Kardex Movable Rack System lets you make the most of one of your company's biggest investments - floor space. With racks mounted on movable carriages, the system creates access aisles - for people and for trucks-only when and where they're needed. So aisles not in immediate use aren't taking up valuable floor space that could be devoted to revenue-producing activity.

This versatile system accepts any type of existing rack and handles up to 60,000 pounds of load per double rack section. Complete operator safety is assured with a number of standard and optional safety features.

      Selection Criteria
  • For storage of pallets and large bulk items.
  • Movable aisle shelving with fork truck access.
  • Creates access aisles only when and where necessary.
  • Allows operation from end panel controls or optional remote control.
  • Provides more than double the storage capacity of fixed rack.
  • Accepts any type of new or existing standard rack.

  • 60,000 lbs. per double-faced movable section.
  • One motor per 180,000 lbs.
  • All weight distributed over wheels.
  • Wheels are 10" in diameter.
  • 220 VAC, 60 Hz power source to each module.
